Hello again everyone. These few weeks was a tough week
though, there’s assignment, forums and I have to practice and teach my team
member a few dance step for our “Hubungan Etnik” performance which is also for
our assignment. Besides that, I’m not really good in organizing time that’s why
I have to do multitasking on my weekends which is supposed to be my ‘relaxed
day’. ππ

Okay, let start with my 5th reflection which is
about lesson plan.
| Sir Teo explain to us about lesson plan. π |
What is lesson plan?
It is one of the most important activities a teacher must do
is to plan lessons. In order to prepare
students for success, lessons must be planned thoroughly and include all
components of an essential curriculum.
What are we going to teach, how we will teach it, how will
we determined if students ‘get it.
What do we need to know in order to write lesson plan?
- - Objective to be taught/assessed
- - Prior knowledge needed
- - Materials to be used
- - Learning styles of students
- - How you will assess student mastery
As a soon teacher to be, I need to set my own philosophy and
plan my lesson plan for students, we should not teach students without any
objective in their learning because students need to learn step by step. Before
planning a lesson, we need to have a clear idea of what the teaching objectives
are. What, specifically, the student should be able to do, understand and care
about.
We need to know the type of lesson to be presented,
procedures to be followed, and behavioral expectations related to the lesson,
what students are expected to do, what knowledge or skills are to be
demonstrated and in what manner.
Students should be informed about what is expected of them.
That’s all.
Stay tuned for my next reflection.
